Fort Mose Visitor Center Opening

Fort Mose Visitor Center Opening Saturday, October 20, 2007 Santiago Avenue St. Augustine, Florida Two miles north of St. Augustine Fort Mose is the first free black settlement in what is now the United States, it existed in the 1700's, and was a community of escaped slaves who fled from South Carolina while seeking freedom from slavery in the British Carolinas. 

First Friday Artwalk
Every 1st Friday of the month

First Friday Art Walk- Free self-guided tour held the first Friday of each month of St. Augustine's art galleries. From 5-9pm. Refreshments served at each gallery. Call 829-0065 for more information.

Uptown Saturday Night
Every 4th Saturday of the month September 12th thru December 31st

Poised to become a favorite end-of-the-month event, Uptown Saturday Night takes place from 5-9pm on the LAST SATURDAY of each month on San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine. Galleries, antique stores and shops between Ripley's museum and The Mission remain open during this special time. Wine, cheese, refreshments, music and other entertainment contribute to the party-like atmosphere. Join in the fun!
